I am an accomplished property leader who has a proven track record in the commercial, industrial, and residential market. Through the record-breaking sales of numerous multimillion-dollar properties I have honed my skills to become an expert in my field. The marketing and sale of high value sites and residential project marketing are my core strengths.

I am an active participant in our local communitiy, sercving on many committtees and boards as well as serving as regional chair for the UDIA and deputy chair the Property Council of Australia.
 

Kady joined Colliers Wollongong in 2012 and during this time, she has developed a diverse property skillset, from property management to commercial and industrial sales and leasing. Initially employed in an administrative role, Kady quickly progressed to the position of Assistant Property Manager, taking care of the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of over 200-properties.  

In 2019, Kady was promoted to the position of Commercial Leasing Executive and in 2021, Head of Commercial Leasing. In this role, Kady’s solid foundation across many aspects of the business gave her a unique and invaluable ability to approach any property opportunity with a well-rounded outlook, ensuring our clients had a seamless, profitable experience. Kady has achieved a great deal during her time with Colliers Wollongong and much of this success is due to her ability to connect with clients and develop long term, stable relationships. These strong relationships were particularly valuable throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, where Kady utilised her property knowledge and adaptability to keep clients informed about the changing circumstances within commercial property, giving them the confidence to make decisions and ensure the continuity of their business.

Tarryn brings over 6 years property management experience to our team. She successfully attained her Real Estate License in 2020 and has been delivering valued expertise to her clients through her dedication to the industry, client-focus, detail orientation, and hard-working nature. Tarryn has an in depth knowledge of the Illawarra property market. Her positive attitude and attention to detail always ensures that every client relationship is friendly and professional.

Tarryn thrives on providing her clients and tenants with exceptional customer service and is dedicated to sharing her expert knowledge and advice to her colleagues, landlords, tenants and contractors alike ensuring all parties achieve the best results for their assets.

Taleah is a passionate and personable agent who understands the importance of correctly managing her client's assets. She has excelled in several sectors including development site sales, investment and industrial sales. As an active member of the local Property Council committee, Taleah's exposure to an array of industry practices forms a useful part of her toolkit and she is focussed on growing her already strong relationships with investors and developers. Taleah prides herself on her relationship management, which has been key to her success.

Taleah is a licensed real estate agent in both NSW and ACT. Eagar to continue to grow as an expert in her field, she is undertaking a postgraduate degree in Property at Deakin University. 

Matthew is a seasoned property professional with years of experience in Retail.

Commencing in 2018, Matthew worked for JLL as a Customer Service Coordinator in their National Property Management Team where he gained valuable experience in property management before becoming Team Leader.

In 2019, he transitioned into Retail Leasing and gained exposure to sales, leasing and client-relationship management. He quickly became a Senior Manager, responsible for overseeing 50 Shopping Centres across NSW.

Matthew joined our team in 2022 and now applies his specialised skillset of client relationship management, retail expertise and customer service to the Commercial Leasing team.

Commencing with Colliers in 2020, Jemma joined our team working alongside the property management team across both residential and commercial departments. Jemma quickly evolved into the role of property manager, where she was responsible for managing our entire commercial portfolio, ensuring her client’s valuable assets run smoothly and all maintenance and compliance are up to high standards. Her exceptional communication skills, ability and passion to build valuable, lasting relationships are some of the many reasons she was able to transition into and succeed a career path in residential sales. With a client focused approach, Jemma works with her clients to understand their requirements and delivers a level of service that exceeds their expectations. Jemma thrives on ensuring the best possible outcomes is achieved for her clients.

Manuel's career spans from a trades background as a metal fabrication and formwork carpenter, in maintenance and construction industries, progressing to senior supervisor and site management roles.

After obtaining his Real Estate certificate in 2019, Manuel commenced in residential property management before seamlessly transitioning into commercial property management, where his true passion lies.

Manuel proves his worth as a dedicated and hardworking professional, effectively managing multiple properties. His trade expertise enhances his approach and knowledge to property management, while his ability to liaise with tenants, owners, and contractors highlights his commitment to achieving successful outcomes for all parties.

Originally from Portugal, Manuel moved to Australia with his family when he young, and has lived and worked in the Illawarra ever since, gaining extensive experience within our local region.

Having been appointed a board member of Destination Wollongong, Graeme knows the Wollongong and Illawarra market intimately and is always eager to share his knowledge to colleagues and clients, to help them achieve the best outcome for their assets. 

After completing a Hotel Management apprenticeship, Graeme built a notable career in tourism and hospitality, managing several key hotel operations in the early 90’s, culminating as the Area General Manager for Hilton Hotels. Graeme transitioned to the contract catering and facilities sector, and after 10 years in senior management roles in the UK, accepted an offer to come to Australia to manage public, athlete and corporate hospitality requirements for several venues at the Sydney Olympics. Following that, Graeme continued as Senior Area Manager with Compass Group, overseeing hospitality and facilities operations for key clients including BAE Systems, BlueScope Steel, Qantas, Bruce Stadium (Canberra), Goulburn Police College, Garden Island Naval Base and IBM.

Most recently, Graeme completed a six-year term with the University of Wollongong (UOW) as Senior Business Manager where he was responsible for the operation and financial performance across a variety of business units. This was a vital role with UniCentre and UOW Pulse, which included managing leasing and tenancy operations and responsibility for the performance, direction and development of a large number of employees.

I manage the leasing operations of all upcoming vacancies by conducting open homes, private inspections, handling enquiries and processing applications in an efficient and timely manner to ensure the vacancy of all assets are limited.

I began my career within the industry over 10 years ago and permanently joined the Colliers team in 2021. I enjoy growing and building relationships with vendors, stakeholders and customers within the business. I pride myself in providing extensive customer service experience and excellent interpersonal skills.

As Operations Manager, I play a vital role in assisting our sales, leasing and property management departments to ensure processes run smoothly for a seamless transaction. I work closely with the accounts and the marketing department to ensure our procedures are as effective and beneficial for our team and clients as possible. My organisation and time management skills have led me to focus on and succeed in a career in real estate and I hold my Certificate IV in Leadership and Management and am currently undertaking my  Certificate IV in Real Estate.

As a seasoned Data Analyst and Business Intelligence professional, I specialise in harnessing the power of data to drive business performance and strategy optimisation. I hold a Masters’ degree in Business Analytics and an impressive portfolio of professional certifications from Google, SAS and many others.

Beyond traditional data analysis, my expertise extends into the domain of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). I have successfully designed and deployed machine learning models to predict trends, automate decision-making, and provide data-driven insights. Furthermore, I have been able to leverage AI to support business goals, streamlining processes and enhancing operational efficiency.

My strong analytical abilities, backed by knowledge in business analysis, project management, and data warehousing, allow me to visualise and transform intricate data into valuable business insights. My keen eye for detail and ability to interpret complex data through the lens of business strategy makes me a unique asset in any data-focused role with an ability to bring significant value to any project in need of leveraging data to transform their vision.

I joined Colliers from the establishment of the Wollongong office in 2006, where I took on the role of the finance manager and bring over 32 years of experience in accounting and finance to the team.

As a registered BAS agent, I have managed the financial aspect for a variety of organisations in a diverse range of industries including construction, retail, hospitality, and real estate.

As part of my responsibility, I ensure the company runs smoothly and efficiently overall by generating the financial reporting, BAS preparation, cashflows, payroll, debtors, creditors, revenue reporting and ensuring accuracy of the fee forecast for the business.

More specifically to the realestate sector, I handle all trust accounting according to legislative requirements, complete trust reconciliation on both the sales and rental trusts, ongoing auditing of all accounts, prepare sales and lease fee calculations based on agreed terms, on-charge vendor paid marketing and pay creditors.

A highly motivated and driven professional, Joseph has completed his Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice. Joseph brings a versatile skillset having tapped into a diverse range of industries. With a unique blend of technical aptitude, leadership skills, and effective communication, he is committed to achieving results for his clients and team. His ability to swiftly acquire new skills and seamlessly transition to novel experiences reflects adaptability and resilience.

Despite being the youngest member of the team, Joseph actively contributes to the success of the commercial property management department. With a strong work ethic and a willingness to tackle new challenges, he plays a key role in ensuring that processes run smoothly across the business. Joseph recognises the significance of effective communication, and seamlessly demonstrates that with clients, contractors, and customers, fostering strong relationships and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Daniel started his professional career in 2021 within the field of marketing and graphic design. He is a valued member of our marketing department, where he plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales, leasing, and property management teams.

Among Daniel's core responsibilities are the  formulation and implementation of innovative marketing strategies, ensuring consistent adherence to brand standards across all deliverables, and the creation of both internal and external marketing materials, his specialty lies in crafting distinctive layouts and design solutions tailored to the needs of both the Colliers team and our esteemed clientele.

I joined the Colliers team in 2023 and i am a valuable asset, serving as an Executive Assistant. I play an important role in our operations. My responsibilities extend across all departments, where i work closely to ensure coordination and execution of various initiatives. I take great pride in delivering an exceptional level of customer service. My dedication to facilitating smooth interactions and fostering strong relationships underscores my commitment to excellence in every aspect of my role. I am currently undertaking my Certificate IV in Real Estate.

Melissa started her career in Real Estate in 2016, joining Colliers Wollongong as first point of contact for clients and in a supportive capacity to the Sales, Leasing and Property Management departments.

While in an administrative role, Melissa continued to demonstrate a thorough understanding of systems, procedures and the importance of communication with customers and clients. As a result, Melissa was promoted to Team Assistant to the Residential and Commercial Sales and Leasing department.

Melissa’s role as a Team Assistant was very diverse, covering administrative support to the Residential and Commercial teams, while also supporting the entire team with the capabilities to ensure sales are progressing. Liaising between the vendor, sales executive and the purchaser was also vital to Melissa’s role, as she supported the team from launch to settlement while also ensuring the accuracy of project data and reports. Melissa also supported the Marketing Department, assisting in the management of online property listings, social media, and email communications.

In 2020, Melissa took on the role of Marketing Manager for Colliers Wollongong office, specialising in creating and executing new marketing strategies to help accelerate the success of each client.

Melissa also supports team by assisting with the preparation of property marketing material, proposals, demographic reports, marketing, and research support. Melissa loves to create ideas from scratch, making customized marketing templates for our clients and helping to promote their brand, striving to bring a unique set of ideas for rebranding and repositioning of each client’s asset.

Sami is an enthusiastic and highly motivated member of our finance team. Having previously worked in finance for a number of organisations  Sami assists our sales, leasing, strata and property management divisions with invoice processing, payments and settlements.

Her focus is to fulfil client requirements and ensure smooth processing of all company accounts.
